In general, custom rims (such as 17″ or 18″ rims) are designed to upgrade or modify the look of vehicles by replacing the existing OEM rims. Essentially, a rim is the metal frame that supports the tire. Ideally, the size of the rim that you need to purchase will be influenced by the size of the tire you use. So, for instance if you have an 18″ tires, you will of course need 18 inch rims.
